Event Administrator – Cannonball Ireland Ltd – Co. Kildare

Cannonball Ireland is looking for an Events Administrator. We need a take charge professional with ability to manage administration and logistics in support of two directors in a busy special events environment. Assist with coordination of up to 10 events per year, 7 Irish based events 1 Scottish event, 1 European event and 1 International event. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. The ideal candidate should have a love for special event management, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers. Key role and skills required: Assist with negotiations for hotel contracts and Tour operators. Negotiate with Suppliers. Diary management. Meeting with local authorities. Sponsorship presentation, sourcing and negotiation. Other ad hoc duties as required, such as arrange food and beverages.

Skills Requirements

Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers. Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism. Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision. Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality. Degree preferred. Hotel and Tour operation experience an advantage.
