About the RTB
The Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) is an independent State Agency established in 2004. The role of the RTB is to support and regulate the rental housing market and our overall vision is to have a well-functioning rental housing sector in Ireland that is fair, accessible and beneficial for all.
The Rental Strategy published by the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government envisages the development of a viable and sustainable rental sector that can provide choice, quality and security for households and secure, attractive investment opportunities for landlords. The RTB are at the forefront in delivering this change and will be enhancing and expanding the services it currently provides to support this vision. We are now seeking to recruit some new personnel to support us in this important work.
This exciting dynamic business environment offers exciting opportunities for staff to be engaged in challenging and diverse projects related to the rental sector in Ireland at this time of great change.
Executive Officer Role
The RTB has a number of initial vacancies for Executive Officer posts and we intend to establish a panel from which to draw as new posts and vacancies thereafter arise. The RTB is a diverse organisation and our services and work encompasses a number of different areas including:
Governance, communications and advertising and facilities
Project management covering a range of complex multi-disciplinary projects
Administration and contract management
Data analysis and research
Supporting our Disputes and Enforcement Sections involving legal services and dealing with case management
