Overall purpose of the Role:
To organise and coordinate all finance and office administration and procedures, to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety and to accurately maintain and record all financial documentation for Hill Street Family Resource Centre working in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
An Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent
At least 3 to 5 years in a Finance or Financial Administration role is required
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookExperience and ability to maintain an efficient and accurate accounts system, to include, preparation of management accounts, invoicing, credit control, bank reconciliations (QuickBooks or similar)
Experience in the maintenance of efficient and accurate payroll records (Thesaurus), to include remittances to Revenue
Commissioners
An understanding of good governance policies and procedures
Knowledge of SORP
Excellent general office skills
An appreciation and understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by working for a small organisation,
The need to be flexible and to proactively contribute to the work of the team.
Ability to work on own initiative, with strong organisational and time management skills.
Desirable skills:
Experience of working in the charity or not-for-profit industry
A recognised accountancy qualification

Salary: €29,614 – €31,650 pro rata depending on qualifications and experience
