Sonas provides refuge, support and housing to women and children experiencing domestic violence across the greater Dublin region and Wicklow. Sonas is looking for two Floating Women’s Support Workers – 1 Full time (5 days per week) and 1 part time (3 days per week) – to work with women and children in our Refuge, Supported Housing, Visiting Support, Outreach and Safe Home services. As part of the Women’s Support and Children’s Support services team, the Floating Women’s Support Workers will work to ensure a holistic and integrated service is offered to families availing of our service.
Job Purpose:
To provide services to support women and their children who are in Sonas’ services, on a one-to-one basis, in families and in a group setting. To work directly with clients in their home, community or in a Sonas service location to;
• Ensuring best practice in the delivery of services to women and children in the service
• Ensuring the needs of service users are central to the work of the service
Job Terms and Conditions:
€33,367 per annum pro rata, premiums may apply
Full time – 5 days per week, 40 hours
Part time – 3 days per week, 24 hours
12 month fixed term contract
26 days annual leave, pro rata
Note: You will need to have your own transport and be available to travel to all Sonas locations
