2into3 operate a highly successful graduate programme for not-for-profit organisations with each trainee mentored throughout their placement by 2into3. Participants are also added to 2into3’s graduate network and are invited to quarterly roundtable events hosted by key figures in the not-for-profit sector.
We are recruiting a Fundraising Trainee to participate in the graduate programme with Focus Ireland.
Focus Ireland
Focus Ireland is driven by the fundamental belief that homelessness is wrong. Wrong because it is a failure of society that creates victims out of ordinary people and robs them of their potential. Wrong because it can be prevented, it can be solved but is allowed to continue and in doing so, undermines society. Focus Ireland believes that everyone has the right to a place they can call home.
Focus Ireland was founded by Sr. Stanislaus Kennedy in 1985. Since its foundation, Focus Ireland has continued to grow and its research and advocacy work ensures that the rights of people who are homeless remain on the political agenda. Focus Ireland has over 70 services and housing projects across Ireland including in Dublin, Waterford, Kilkenny, Cork, Sligo and Limerick which, in 2016, assisted over 13,000 people.
The organisation has a fundraising team which works across a range of areas, including public and corporate fundraising.
Focus Ireland is seeking to add a driven graduate trainee to its team to support its fundraising activities. The trainee will play a crucial role in the fundraising team by supporting all fundraising administrative processes through communicating with Focus Ireland’s donors on a regular basis, managing a database of donors through the use of CRM systems, ensuring up-to-date and accurate record keeping and more.
