This newly opening pre-used Furniture/General Retail store is an exciting opportunity for someone with retail experience to manage a start-up business in Castlebar. The role will involve managing all aspects of the store from sorting and repurposing/upcycling goods to high standards of merchandising. Promote and develop the new start-up to attract goods and customers. Achieve targets under Sales, Costs and Customer Service. Maintain excellent customer service in all interactions with customers. Ensure merchandising and presentation of shop is of the highest standard at all times. Manage all incoming goods and repair/remodel for resale to maximise sale value.

Skills Requirements

Entrepreneurial skills to develop a new start-up. Previous retail experience. Ability to motivate a team in the best interests of the business. General basic carpentry or upholstery skills would be a distinct advantage. Excellent communication skills. Dedicated to high standards of customer service.
