Description
Responsibilities: Support and develop EHS management systems. Implement Company Health, Safety & Environmental policies. Manage Health, Safety & Environmental aspects for the facility. Investigate, report and record all accidents and dangerous occurrences. Ensure employees and company adhere to their responsibilities under the relevant legislation. Identify, organise and carry out in house training e.g. Fire Marshall, First Aid, Manual Handling, VDU/DSE, Abrasive wheel, Environmental Awareness or any other training as required. Responsible for dealing with the local and national Authorities along with other interested parties in relation to EHS matters. Conduct, review & audit risk assessments for all work activities and employees. Develop and communicate method statements & SOPs to relevant parties. Full description available on request.
Skills Requirements
Min Diploma in a Health & Safety related discipline is essential. Previous experience in a Health & Safety role is an advantage but not a requirement. Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure. Be able to communicate at all levels within the organization. Confident and optimistic with positive energy and drive to meet targets and achieve results.
