Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking a HGV Workshop Manager to be based in Dublin West. In-house facilities – Ensures an effective estimation system is in place for all repairs and maintenance. Makes use of standard times for routine and non-routine maintenance based on estimates; tracks productivity in real-time against standard time and achieves KPIs as may be set. Acts as line manager for HGV staff, ensuring overall productivity, efficiency, effectiveness and quality measures are achieved. In charge of HGV assets and equipment, ensuring assets and equipment are to a high standard; follows good practice and statutory or standards based servicing requirements. Ensures effective health and safety standards are in place. Outsourced partners – Acts as overall manager of outsourced operations. Carries out random operational inspections. Ensures effective QC and tracking system is in place. Essential Criteria: HGV mechanical background preferred (but not essential) or production/engineering background. Used to working with a Workshop management system. People management experience. Operations management experience. Experience of putting effective and robust structures in place.
