Role Criteria:
The Home Services Managers (HSMs) must possess the following qualifications, skills and experience;
A Nursing qualification for one of the two Areas is essential.
An Allied Healthcare qualification, or Minimum Level 8 qualification in Healthcare, Business, Management or other relevant discipline is essential for the other Area.
Previous homecare or healthcare industry related experience is desirable.
Experience in managing a diverse workload and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience/qualification in working with diverse groups of people.
Fluent in the English language.
Strong people management skills, with an ability to work well with others.
Strong administrative skills are essential tied with an ability to manage set budgets and ensure a smooth delivery of supports throughout the designated area.
Be an excellent communicator, Flexible in attitude and approach to the job.
A willingness to learn and a desire to implement a culture of continuous improvement within their team.
A willingness to help out other colleagues.
A strong work ethic is essential. Willingness to travel and do some evening work when required.
Full drivers’ licence with access to transport.

Location:
Area 1 maps on to HSE CHO 1 area. The successful candidate in Area 1 will be based from Family Carers Ireland’s, 53 St Bridget’s Place, Sligo, F91 YY59.
Area 2 maps on to HSE CHO 2 area. The successful candidate in Area 2 will be based from Family Carers Ireland, Barrack Street, Loughrea, Co Galway H62 PY63.
Flexibility around hybrid working will be discussed at hiring stage.
