Alstom Transport Ireland employs approximately 2,000 people at over 20 different locations in the UK and Ireland. We are a major supplier and maintainer of tramways, main line trains, metro cars, electrical renovation & signalling systems. Alstom Transport Ireland is seeking a HR Co-ordinator. Key responsibilities include: Co-ordinate end to end recruitment activities. Provide research for compensation benchmarking analysis, Staff Wellbeing study, policies, strategic planning and other HR issues/ projects as required. Provide HR advice staff in a timely manner, ensuring it adheres to Company policy. Produce monthly absenteeism reports. Management of Notice Boards, Staff List and Organisation Charts. Update and maintain Personnel Files ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Skills Requirements
Working towards or completed third level qualification in Human Resources essential; Strong Communicator with Excellent Organisational Skills; In depth knowledge of relevant IT software packages, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Working knowledge of HR practices, processes and procedures; Working knowledge of Employment Law; Minimum 3 years experience working in a HR environment. Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4pm, 30 minutes lunch break.
