Description

Location: Base of Tralee with travel nationwide and abroad. The role; The successful candidate will coordinate the external HSE consultancies working on behalf of the Project Management Department, audit and track the status of implementation of HSE in the projects and report to the Regional HSE Manager. The HSE Officer is authorised and expected to take the necessary measures to guarantee health, safety and environmental protection on the Projects, in line also with the country regulations. Your tasks: Supervise the implementation of ENERCON HSE processes and management system in all projects being developed in the country, and maintain an open communication with the Regional Head of Project Management and country teams to ensure alignment to such processes. Analyse HSE reports from the Projects. Gather and report data on HSE performance (metrics), plan execution, audit corrective actions and incidents. Coordinate and direct the external H&S professionals / providers.

Skills Requirements

Required 2+ years of HSE experience in a construction environment, including managing at site specific level or managing multiple projects in the country. Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Excellent decision making skills and the ability to be assertive. Proficiency in all MS Office packages.
