Blakestown & Mountview Youth Initiative is a community based organisation working with 13-18 yr. olds and their families. We are hiring a manager for the project.

BMYI is funded by HSE Addiction Services and based in a purpose built facility. We aim to provide interventions to young people and their families at risk of early school leaving.

The supports offered encompass three strands: youth development, education support & family support.

Essential criteria

Experience of management
Degree in social care, social work or another relevant area
Experience of staff support & supervision
Financial management

Desirable criteria

Proficiency in Client relationships management system
Excellent communication skills
Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team
Strategic planning
Facilitates management
Policy development
Strategic networking skills
