Covering Arlington Lodge, Knocklee House, supported long term and transitional housing units and Housing First
40 hours per week, full time contract
Salary Scale: €44,630 – €53,160
Candidates must have a:
Minimum of two years’ experience working with homeless people and / or other social care groups.
Minimum degree in Social Care / Social Work / Social Studies or relevant discipline necessary. Management qualification desirable.
Experience and knowledge of supervising / managing work in one or more of the following disciplines: Homeless / Housing, Family Support, Health Care, Mental Health, Child Care, Supported Housing or Substance Misuse Services.
Proven track record in providing services that foster and enhance the dignity, development and independence of the individual.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Excellent report writing and communication skills, ability to work on own initiative whilst ensuring self and team are highly motivated.
To be an efficient and effective administrator and time manager.
Ability to work as part of the Senior Management Team and a good understanding of team issues and willingness to be flexible when taking part in an on-call rota system involving weekends and late evening work as well as other duties assigned to project managers.
Computer Literate / Word, Excel and Internet.
Driving license and use of own car
