Manager – Kilkenny Volunteer Centre

Experience of public relations planning and delivery
Experience of interaction with different stakeholders: public and private sector,

Knowledge of using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)

Excellent Finance/Reporting skills
Knowledge
Understanding of volunteering, equal opportunities and social inclusion issues
Good understanding and knowledge of Kilkenny City and County, its needs, and requirements.
Knowledge of how the voluntary/community sector works, including an understanding of the realities of paid and unpaid work in this sector
Understanding of the needs of funders

Experience
A minimum of 3 years management experience preferably in the Community Sector
Experience of volunteering& volunteer management
Good Working Knowledge of both Kilkenny City and County
Line Management experience.
Experience of promoting projects and Project Management
Financial and budgeting experience
Planning and Training experience
Writing successful funding proposals

Personal qualities
Interest in the development of volunteering and understanding of the wide range of forms it can take
Passionate belief that anyone can volunteer
Self-starter, yet team player, including willingness to work alongside volunteers
Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours
Commitment to the requirements of the post

The successful candidate will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
