Based in Sligo, Domestic Violence Advocacy Service [DVAS] provide a range of services to women experiencing domestic violence in Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan.

We are now recruiting a Manager of Services to lead and manage all aspects of our service.

Salary €50,000 plus pension benefits.

Reporting directly to the voluntary board and leading a small team of staff and volunteers, the Manager of Services will ensure a balance between day to day operations management, consolidating the current position and implementing the strategic development of the organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and have in-depth knowledge of issues pertaining to domestic violence as well as direct experience of supporting women in a related environment. An effective communicator with demonstrable experience of negotiating and influencing at senior level, sound financial management, income generation and ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve organisational objectives are a prerequisite of the role.
