The Asthma Society of Ireland is currently recruiting a National Community Fundraising Manager. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a high-profile health charity at an exciting time in its development and grow its community fundraising income from a relatively low base. It is the perfect role for an ambitious self-starter who wants to prove themselves in a management position with a national remit. You will report directly to the Society’s Chief Executive.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing and growing the Society’s current fundraising activities;
Developing new initiatives;
Recruiting and engaging volunteers; and
Attracting and caring for donors.
The successful candidate will be expected to work to targets and budgets, ensuring all activities are consistent with the values of the Society.
The ideal person for the role will have:
At least three years’ experience in a fundraising role;
A relevant third level qualification;
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and writing skills; and
Strong digital marketing and event management skills.
