Description
Manage all warehouse operations, utilising a team to achieve maximum productivity without compromising product integrity as well as Health and Safety. Organising recruitment of staff in conjunction with HR, monitoring the staff performance and build team skills through training, feedback and support. Generating regular reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and briefing staff. Complete all administration functions required by the operation. Continually seeking opportunities for service enhancement and improved management. Create a more efficient and cost effective operation. Manage and optimise budgets in line with KPIs, actively improving efficiency, performance and reducing cost. Ensuring current standards of health and safety are met and exceeded. Dealing with all relevant customers requirements and resolving any customer issues. Maintaining lines of communication with key contacts both internal and external.
Skills Requirements
Key Requirements/Competencies: 3-5 years relevant managerial warehouse experience. Ability to work on own initiative. WMS and MS office systems experience essential. Industry awareness. Ability to innovate and be self-motivated. Capable of working within a high pressure environment. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
