Candidates must have knowledge and experience of:
Working in a social care setting.
The needs of homeless people specifically those dealing with addiction.
Motivating, supervising and supporting vulnerable adults.
Working flexible hours including shifts and weekends.
Excellent communication skills, relevant to working with clients with addiction / learning disabilities / mental health issues / challenging behavior, etc.
A knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting people who are homeless.
The ability to demonstrate that you are committed to the ethos of Novas.
The ability to work as part of a team in a challenging environment.
The ability to deliver good quality services which foster and enhance the dignity, development and independence of the service user.
