Primary responsibilities:
Helping to sustain a welcoming and safe environment for students, staff and visitors.
Being present in the centre, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 12.30 pm. Some flexibility may be needed, including working one evening a week.
Assisting in the running of the centre.
Being involved in the design, delivery, and evaluation of online modules and the growing of our online social media presence.
Providing administrative support to the Director / Coordinator.
Responding to technical queries from tutors.
Answering the door / phone and addressing email queries.
Other tasks as assigned by the Director / Coordinator.
Must also demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities.
Good administration, organisational and time management skills.
Some experience in web administration and social media platforms in order to develop our eLearning /online presence.
Ability to work as a member of a team as well as working on own initiative.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Confident in the use of MS Office.
Desirable experience.
Office administration in an educational setting.
knowledge of payroll function.
Salary: €20 approx. per hour depending on experience.
