Description
An Operations Manager is required for a start-up company based in Waterford City. The company has successfully tendered for contracts and is currently entering the contract implementation stage. The business involves the delivery of a managed service through a network of sub-contractors. Responsibilities: Supplier relationship management: develop strong relationships with all suppliers, monitor SLAs and ensure performance in line with requirements. Management of supplier quality and ensuring adherence to service levels. Maintaining and ensuring inventory and data accuracy. Management and resolution of discrepancies. Identifying cost saving initiatives including process and systems improvement. Value Stream Management: Monitor supplier s capacity, constraints, lead-times and overall inventory commitments. Ensuring the clients requirements are achieved and exceeded.
Skills Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: A 3rd Level degree or higher. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Solid record of attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent negotiation and problem solving skill. Strong planning and organisational and administration skills.
