The Role
An exciting opportunity for an Operations Worker to work as part of a team to ensure the provision of accommodation services and physical environment within Dublin Simon Community operate effectively and consistently to best practice standards and to ensure the health and safety standards and the needs of service users are met.
Working live nights, core responsibilities include:
To ensure the continuity of service provision in housing services, to include handovers, diary, incident reports etc.
To ensure housing operations run smoothly – maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the services both in private rooms as well as general common areas, with service user involvement where feasible
To engage with and build a professional trusting relationship with people treating them with dignity and respect in order to work within the values of Dublin Simon.
To ensure all appropriate service users related records and interventions are logged accurately and timely on the PASS system.
To ensure that Health and Safety standards are met within the project in accordance with Dublin Simon’s Health and Safety policies, procedures and the services Safety Statement.
We are looking for an individual with a recognised third level qualification in a relevant discipline, with previous working or volunteering experience in a social care setting.
