Foróige, the National Youth Development Organisation, which promotes and fosters youth development through the operation of various youth services in urban and rural areas throughout the country, in conjunction with the Sligo Leitrim Children & Young People’s Services Committee, invite applications for the following position:
PARTICIPATION LAB WORKER
The Participation Lab Worker will on behalf of Sligo Leitrim Participation Lab Group deliver on the completion of Objective 3 and 4 of the Participation lab Project for the region. This is a regional post requiring travel throughout Sligo and Leitrim.
This is a 9 month specific purpose contract subject to funding. The post is for an average of 1.5 days per week and will be co-located between both Sligo/Leitrim
The successful applicant will have the following essential requirements;
Education to National Diploma or Degree standard in a relevant area
A minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
Access to car and full driving licence
Relevant paid or voluntary, experience working with young people
Knowledge of participatory processes and techniques to facilitate involvement of groups and individuals in decision making, planning and evaluation.
Experience of training development and provision.
Skills in project development (i.e., planning, implementing and evaluation).
