West Limerick Independent Living is one of the largest providers of Personal Assistant Services to people with disabilities in Limerick. Over the past decade the organisation has developed high quality, Personal Assistant (PA) services for people with disabilities in Limerick City and County. A PA service is a service for persons with significant disability who need assistance in aspects of daily living, at home, travelling, at work, college or socially.

The Person:
Have a recognised third level qualification in the area of social care / health services / nursing
Have at least 2 years related work experience in areas such as health and social care work, social work and/or community development etc.
Experience in managing or supervising staff
Will be committed to the principles of rights-based, person-centred services and are keen to accept the challenges involved in the ongoing delivery of such services
Will have the ability to communicate openly and effectively with service users, their family members, staff and management
Will welcome change and be committed to continuous improving and learning throughout the organisation
Will be outgoing, have a positive outlook on life, have good interpersonal skills and be an excellent communicator
Salary range: Dependent on Experience
