DESCRIPTION
Many children availing of St Catherine’s Early Intervention Services attend pre schools in their communities. Some children may need additional support to enable them to participate fully in their preschool. The Preschool Support Worker will provide the necessary identified supports in agreement with the Preschool and the Early Services Team.

Salary Scale: €24,324 – €29,689

Applicants must have:
Minimum FETAC level 5 in Childcare
Special Needs Qualifications & a min of 1 years’ experience.
Excellent interpersonal & team skills
The ability to work on your own initiative
Flexibility is essential
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to the values of St Catherine’s to improve the lives of the children we support
The ability to work effectively under pressure and handle changing priorities
Have access to transport

A panel may be formed for similar vacancies that may arise within the next 12 months
