We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer to develop and implement the hospital supply chain strategy to deliver ongoing efficiencies that positively impacts the bottom line profitability of the business.Duties include ensuring the stores function is providing a high quality service to all Departments, lead cataloguing of all stock within the hospital, responsible for the integration of Integra to Cork, analysis of Suppliers, implementation of JIT system for non essential stock, streamlining of pricing with MPD to reduce costs, and increase buying power, develop business plans, and metrics, and specify process improvement objectives and manage change to become best in class

Skills Requirements

Candidates must have a 3rd level Business Qualification a Supply Chain management track record of delivering results in a commercial service environment. Must have strong leadership skills, Commercial acumen, Inventory Management and negotiating skills, and be a strategic thinker. Excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of MS Office Suite essential.
