Description

Production Manager required for a growing shower manufacturing company in Kilkenny. Candidates must have: An established background as a Manager of a busy production/assembly line. Ability to work on their own initiative. Be able to work flexible hours to ensure production schedules are met whilst maintaining product quality. Achieve business objectives in a pressurised environment. Control/Manage a team of Production Operatives, providing technical support, tactical and strategic direction, coaching and development. Ensure production standards are maintained at a high standard. Cooperate with other functional areas and groups within the company, to achieve business objectives.

Skills Requirements

Candidates must have: Ability to work on their own initiative. Confidence to learn our business and the ambition to grow their career with us. 3 years experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Experience managing a team and a proven track record and success in team building skills. Strong understanding of production operations, health & safety and quality control. Strong Computer skills. Work with a sense of urgency and have the ability to be impartial and objective.
