On behalf of our client Servisource are currently seeking a Production Manager for the Newry area. This is a permanent position to start with immediate effect. Purpose: To oversee the planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing process to ensure that goods are produced in a cost efficient manner and to a high quality. Key Responsibilities:As Production Manager you will be responsible for building the production schedules and managing the day to day production to ensure targets and other KPIs and objectives are met. You will ensure that productivity is high and will endeavour to continuously improve the production process. You will also take responsibility for training and staff development as well as managing all Health and Safety training and procedures, ensuring that all employees operate in a safe manner in relation to themselves and their colleagues.

Skills Requirements

Essential Criteria: Knowledge and understanding of Quality, Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements. At least three years experience of supervisory or management role in a food manufacturing environment. Excellent communication, organisational and supervisory skills. Flexible and able to work additional hours based on the needs of production. Ability to demonstrate problem solving and ability to work in a team. Ability to multi-task, prioritise and navigate through change and growth.
