Description

The Production Supervisor contributes to the accomplishment of practices and a culture that will provide an employee-oriented high performance culture that emphasises quality, productivity and standards, empowerment and the ongoing development of a better team. Responsibilities include: Lead the production team to ensure the successful achievement of all targets. Delegate and organise work to ensure the achievement of maximum efficiencies. Meet required quality and production targets whilst ensuring delivery requirements for all customers are met. Plan all operational requirements with the various functional teams across the business. Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Logistics. Identify production problems and implement effective solutions. Ensure First Off Checks/ Final Quality Checks are completed. Ensure complete compliance to prescribed ISO and 5S Housekeeping processes Ensure that all health and safety guidelines.

Skills Requirements

Candidate must have production supervisory experience preferably in an engineering background. Must be able to motivate self and others and show personal initiative. Must have strong organisational and planning skills, people & production Must be able to promote a team environment, promote good work habits Must be a strong communicator. Must possess a strong sense of urgency and be performance and results driven.
