Programme Manager GRADE VIII – Stewarts Care

Stewarts Care Ltd is currently recruiting a Full Time Permanent Programme Manager to join our Care Team.

Stewarts is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive Day, Community, and Residential based services to people with an intellectual disability.

Working with service users and their families, we are committed to developing a broad range of services and supports that help to ensure happy and healthy lifestyles and quality experiences to Service Users.

The post will be a permanent full time position and will report directly to the Registered Provider or person nominated by him.
The post holder will be responsible to strategically plan the direction of Services within the remit of the Programme Manager Role.
The post holder will have operational, managerial and leadership responsibility for all services within the scope of the role.
The post holder will display effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and must possess excellent IT skills.
The post holder must demonstrate the ability to evaluate information and make effective decisions, especially with regard to Service Users care.
The primary focus is to ensure that all designated centres are fully HIQA compliant, uphold the professional and quality assurance standards and the oversight of other programmes as allocated to the post holder.

To be considered for this post the candidate must:
Have a Third Level Healthcare Qualification.
Have a minimum of 7 years post qualification management experience in the area of Intellectual Disability.
Have the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including staff, families and the HSE.
Have a full clean driving licence and access to a car.
Be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
