Post: Programme Supervisor – 30hrs per week – 12mth Fixed Term Contract – Ref No. 3321
Location: RehabCare Castlerea, Co Roscommon

The Resource Centre comprises a combination of programmes with a rehabilitative, developmental and therapeutic focus for people with disabilities who require a range of personal supports.

The successful candidate to this position will report to the Community Service Manager and will have responsibility for:

Taking a lead role in the design and implementation of skills teaching programmes.
Contributing to and supporting the behaviour assessment and intervention planning process.
Supporting the implementation of behaviour support plans using evidence based performance management methods eg. Positive performance monitoring, feedback etc
The assessment of individual service user needs within a designated group and the development and delivery of community and centre based programmes.
The programmes may include independent living, personal development and occupational and leisure activities, within the context of a person centred ethos.
The post will have a specific focus on developing employment and community-based opportunities for individual service users.
Applicants should have an appropriate Third Level qualification in the field of Social Care, Post graduate training in applied behaviour analysis eg PgDip ABA or MSc ABA is also desirable. The post holder must have experience in applied behaviour analysis. Excellent communication skills and the ability to implement individual programmes is also required.

A PANEL WILL BE CREATED AS A RESULT OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS: ALL CANDIDATES WILL REMAIN ON THE PANEL FOR A SIX-MONTH PERIOD.
