Finglas Youth Resource Centre (FYRC)Ltd is a community youth initiative, based in a purpose built youth facility on Mellows Road, Finglas. We are now inviting applications from suitably qualified enthusiastic people interested in working with young people. Candidates should have experience of organisational development, motivating, supervising and supporting staff in a youth work setting and a proven track record of implementing innovative youth work responses to young people’s needs.
Key Task: To lead a team of youth workers to implement and monitor the annual youth work plan of FYRC as agreed by the Board of Management.

Project Leader
A professionally endorsed qualification in Youth / Community
Work, or an equivalent professional qualification or relevant degree plus five
years experience of working with young people at risk is essential.
Experience of managing staff is desirable.
Or
Have worked as a full time youth worker for five years and are currently undertaking professionally endorsed youth and community work training.
Salary: CDYSB Project Leader Salary Scales apply.
The post requires the successful candidate to work and be on site during operational hours of the Youth Resource Centre. This will involve significant scheduled hours at evenings and weekends. Appointment will be subject to FYRC Ltd receiving satisfactory Garda clearance and reference checks for appointees prior to them taking up duties.
