Project Manager – Flynn Management & Contractors – Dublin 11

Description

Project Manager required for a dynamic interior Construction Management Company. Responsibilities include: Preparation of pre-mobilization plans and pre-construction requirements including Health & Safety and Quality Plans. Plan labour, supervision and equipment requirements. Implement company Safety Management System on site with support from H&S Manager. Production and monitoring of construction programme. Maintain project cost control and reporting. Ensure construction organisation is adequate, that staff at all levels understand their role and responsibilities and that effective delegation takes place. Assist with and co-ordinate the project design and construct-ability. Ensure delivery of project of the highest quality. Work with site staff to resolve technical and construct-ability issues. Prepare, administrate and manage multiple subcontracts. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cost and progress reports.

Skills Requirements

5+ years construction experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Project Manager. 3rd Level Honours Degree in relevant field. Experience and formal training in management of PSCS role. Preference given to those with Project Management certification. Good contractual knowledge. Strong communication skills. Strong knowledge of project controls, estimating, programming, tendering, planning. Leadership skills. Computer Applications such as Word, Excel and MS Project
