Dublin City Childcare Committee, on behalf of the National Early Years Children First Committee, is inviting applications for the post of Project Officer for fixed term contract until 31st December 2015.

The National Early Years Children First Committee was established by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs to implement Children First in the early years sector. The committee has developed a national child protection programme for early years settings. The programe, which is in its second year, is delivering  the  first standard child protection training course for early years services and over 4,000 child protection training places were provided in 2014. The committee includes representatives from Tusla – the Child & Family Agency, City/County Child Care Committees, the National Voluntary Childcare Organisations and the Education & Training Board.

The Project Officer, reporting to the Coordinator, will support the roll-out the National Early Years Child Protection Programme.
