Quality Control Manager – Good4U – Sligo

Description

Technical/Quality: Implement, maintain and update all Quality systems as per the business need e.g. HACCP, EFSIS and BRC, to ensure compliance to all Food Safety and Legal requirements. Set expectations for technical standards through regular internal auditing and other measures, so as to drive improvements and prepare the site for formal external audits. Ensure the site is prepared to match or exceed previous results in internal, group and external audits and conduct said audits. Set and monitor technical/Quality KPI�??s and use to drive site standards and continuous improvements. Proactively review and challenge all standards and procedures across the business to promote strict adherence and identify areas for improvement. Ensure that corrective actions are taken to resolve product non-conformances and any identified deficiencies within the quality or food safety systems.

Skills Requirements

Essential Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. Food Science/Food Technology or Food Safety Management. Working knowledge of HACCP, BRC & ISO. Minimum 4 year�??s experience in quality management within food industry. Experience in leading internal, customer and third party audits.
