Gheel Autism Services is a community based progressive and innovative voluntary organisation which provides a broad range of supports and services for adults on the autistic spectrum in partnership with the Health Service Executive and families.
We are recruiting Regional Managers on a permanent full-time basis to manage residential services and Day Services in Dublin and in Kildare. The successful candidates will carry out the duties of the Person in Charge (PIC) as detailed in the Health Act 2007 Regulations for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities. The successful candidates will report to the Services Manager and will work as an integral part of the Services team. These are new posts which have been created following a recent organisational restructure through the development of our Quality Management System which is nearing its completion. These are exciting opportunities for the right candidates to bring their skills and talents to Gheel during a time of change and development.

Essential Qualifications
Honours Degree in Social Studies/Social Care or equivalent qualification
Have or be working towards a qualification in Management
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and the use of Internet and email
Full, clean, driving licence
Essential Experience
At least two year’s recent experience in a Management/Team Leader role in a similar environment.
Desirable Experience
Recent experience in a PIC role
Have experience supporting people with Autism
Have extensive experience working in the disability sector
Terms and Conditions:
The salary scale for the post is aligned to the Department of Health and Children Clerical Grade VII.
Hours of work are 39 hours per week with a high degree of flexibility built in to facilitate service needs. Details will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidates.
