The ideal candidate for this post will have:
Relevant qualification in the area of addiction/ social care and at least one-year full time or equivalent experience of working within residential services.
Have an understanding of the issues relating to alcohol and drug use/homelessness and mental health.
Good Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and practice regarding homelessness and/or drug use.
Possess strong interpersonal skills.
Experience of Key working and care planning desirable but not essential.
Experience of working with clients with multiple needs.
Experience of working lone cover shifts and dealing with crisis situations.
Awareness of boundary issues particular to residential settings.
An approach consistent with MQI core ethos and values.
Salary: €14.00 per hour between hours of 5pm to 11:30pm and 8am to 10am, €9.25 per hour (sleeping hours) between 11:30pm to 8am
Hours: No set hours (If and When Required)
Days: Monday to Sunday
Location: St. Francis Farm, Residential Services.
