Donegal Local Development CLG has been awarded a contract to build the capacity of a group of Programme refugees who are being resettled in County Donegal in order that they may integrate and participate in Community Life and to create an environment in which there is equality of access and outcome for all of the group and for other refugees who may come to live in the County.
The company is currently recruiting for the following positions subject to funding:
Resettlement Support Worker – 18 months
Intercultural Support Worker – 12 months
Based in the Inishowen/ Letterkenny area, the Resettlement Support Worker and Intercultural Support Worker will be required to work flexibly in the assigned area of Donegal to support the integration of the refugee families.
Purpose of both positions:
To facilitate the settlement and integration of Programme Refugees in Donegal.
The ideal candidate shall have:
A relevant third level qualification
3-5years’ experience working within the Community and Voluntary sector or a similar role
