COPE Galway are currently seeking applicants for:
Residential Hostel Worker – Fairgreen Hostel x 2

The Fairgreen Hostel is an established emergency accommodation service run by COPE Galway. It provides a range of services for single homeless men in Galway city.

The Ideal candidate will have:
A 3rd level qualification in a Social Care Setting.
A minimum of two years’ experience in the area of homelessness preferably in a residential setting.
Knowledge of homelessness issues at local and national level.
Experience of working with marginalised groups.
An ability to build and maintain positive relations with clients, colleagues, students, volunteers and with other professional agencies
Availability to work all shifts on a 24/7 roster.
Hours of work: Approximately 39 hours per week, to include weekends, overnights, and bank holidays. Live nights will not normally be a requirement of this role.

Satisfactory Garda Clearance is required for the position.
