The ideal candidate for this post will have:
Have a relevant qualification (minimum FETAC Level 7 or equivalent) e.g. Nursing, Counsellor, Clinical Psychologist or Psychotherapist together with a qualification/completed training in Motivational Interviewing and/or Cognitive Behavioual Therapy (CBT) and children first training.
Have a minimum of 3 years relevant employed work experience in addiction, community development, health & social care, education or related fields with experience in key working, case management and group facilitation. It is desirable that the Co-ordinator would have an addiction and mental health background.
Minimum of 3 years in managing a team and being able to demonstrate the ability to lead, communicate and facilitate a team of professional workers.
Have an understanding of the current National Drugs Strategy, Substance Misuse Strategy, National Drug Rehabilitation Framework, logic model reporting and Safer Better Healthcare (SBHC) Standards
Further Training/Qualifications desirable: ACRA/CRA/CRAFT, relapse prevention.
Hours: 39 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday TBC
Location: Midlands Services based in Portlaoise
