Essential
The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level qualification relevant to the role and work of the service and an absolute minimum of 3 years management experience preferably in the voluntary / community sector
Demonstrate a clear understanding of restorative justice and the restorative principles and philosophy that underpins the work of RJS
Have an excellent working knowledge of the Irish criminal justice system
Have an inclusive leadership and management style
Demonstrate a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders, including statutory, voluntary and community, criminal justice agencies, judiciary
Possess an in-depth knowledge of regulatory and governance obligations
Have verifiable experience of financial and strategic planning and organisational development ability
Desirable
Hold a recognised qualification in restorative justice practice, mediation and / or conflict resolution
Core Role Responsibilities:
Report directly to the RJS Board of Directors and ensure the timely submission of financial and operational reports
Provide supervision and support to a team of employees and volunteers
Operational management of all aspects of the organisation
Maintain an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organisation’s mission, vision, and restorative values
Ensure a high quality of service delivery and practice
Focus on consensus building efforts and strategic planning
Coordinate the design and implementation of our restorative programmes and services
Oversee financial performance and risk profile
Ensure that all of regulatory and governance obligations are met
Ensure that the organisation is at all times resourced with well-trained, quality and engaged employees and volunteers
Represents the organisation at key meetings, events, and networking opportunities
Updates organisational knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations

Salary:
Attractive and competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, including membership of the RJS Pension Scheme.
