They have a requirement for a Social Care Leader based in Dublin 3. Reporting to the House Manager/Person in Charge this is a permanent role.

Duties and Responsibilities

Implement operational plans as determined by Management (Including rosters, fulfilment of Care Plans, Educational Activities)
Supervision of Staff, covering all aspects of practice, philosophy of care and career development needs
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures, national legislation, Children First, HIQA / TUSLA and other applicable standards
Assist in investigation and resolution of incidents and complaints
Take a proactive approach to managing and improving Life Skills, Education, Personal Goals for the boarders through the Social Care and Support Staff including Keyworkers.
Ensure that all required Care Plans, Reports, Goal Sheets, correspondence with parents, schools and agencies are professionally prepared and presented
Engage in reflective practice and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to ensure continuous learning and service improvement
Occasional on-call and off shift supports
Audit to quality standards and legislative requirements

Education:

Minimum Level 7 Degree in Social Care, Community Care, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, Applied Social Studies or Intellectual Disability Nursing.
Full clean driving license
Management Training Course.
TCI trained, OFA, Childrens First and Manual Handling.

Experience:

Two years’ experience in residential care setting
Supervisory experience
Autism Experience
Working in partnership with schools, disability organisations, parents and other stakeholders
Strong communications, written and oral
Information and Communication Technology skills
HIQA / TUSLA or equivalent audit experience
