Essential Qualifications & Experience
Third level qualification in Social Care or Nursing
Candidates must have experience with HIQA’s regulations and meet the minimum criteria as outlined in HIQA’s guidance document related to regulation 14 https://www.hiqa.ie/sites/default/files/2017-05/Provider-guidance-on-Reg….
Minimum of 3 years senior management experience at a similar level of responsibilities
Minimum of 5 years experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector
Experience of successful initiation and delivery of projects
Worked effectively and creatively with a range of stakeholders
Line management and people management skills
Experience with business planning, change management, monitoring, budgeting, report writing and financial monitoring
Good knowledge of statutory guidelines, regulations and relevant legislation
The ideal person will have the following attributes;

Leadership skills – ability to lead a small but dedicated team of employees and volunteers

Care Coordinator – Day Services
This is a new job opportunity available due to the expansion and development of the community and our services and offers an immediate start based on appropriate Garda Vetting and Reference Checks being completed.
The person we engage in this role will be flexible and available to work in with people in our residential and day support services. Having experience of working in the field of Intellectual Disability support and being a social care degree program graduate would be a distinct advantage however a minimum requirement would be to have a qualification at QQI Level 5 Qualification in a social care related discipline. A qualification in community education, being a trained trainer, having particular skills strengths and familiar with key-working and person centred planning would be distinct advantages for being successfully chosen.
There may be some outreach work required in this role.
