Role
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join Depaul’s successful Fundraising and Communications team. Depaul is a values-led organisation, operating services across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This exciting role, reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Communications, will develop, drive and deliver strategy for corporate, philanthropic, and community partnerships and giving. A core component of this role will be working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a calendar of engagement opportunities to maximise sustainable income growth for Depaul’s work.
2. Key Areas of Responsibility
Strategic Planning and Development:
Develop and implement an ambitious strategy with annual plans to maximise income growth from corporate, community and philanthropic partnerships in line with Depaul’s Strategic Plan
Specific focus on enhancing partner relationships to inspire and optimise longer term engagement for sustainable growth and ongoing support
Build strong relationships at all levels across Depaul’s partnership portfolio
Contribute and input to the overall strategic development and direction of Depaul’s Fundraising and Communications
Utilise Depaul’s CRM to track and analyse performance and provide evidence and insight to inform strategic planning
Corporate Partnership Management:
Manage and develop Depaul’s existing portfolio of corporate donors and partners
Develop strong prospect pipelines through research, networking, and leveraging existing and broader Depaul networks
Deliver a first-class values led experience for Depaul partners, maximising engagement and value for both partners and Depaul
Proactively develop and grow the value and impact of partnerships by creating and delivering development, engagement and communications plans and pitching new ideas and proposals
Maintain a consistent level of in-person contact with existing partners and new prospects
Prepare creative and accurate fundraising proposals and deliver compelling pitch presentations.

3. Person Requirements:
Third level degree in related discipline is essential (e.g., Marketing, Business Development)
Two years’ fundraising experience in the charity sector, ideally corporate fundraising or business development
Proven track record of successfully developing, managing and delivering corporate partnerships and exceeding partnership objectives
Proven track record of exceeding financial targets through proactive partnership development and financial planning skills
Good knowledge of fundraising best practice and understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility principles
Previous management experience is desirable, but not essential. Depaul provides excellent leadership training opportunities, including our Values in Leadership Programme.
*Experience at lower levels will be considered if the candidate can demonstrate extensive knowledge or strong transferable skills in key areas, alongside a willingness and desire to learn in order to advance their career.
