Our client, a highly successful multi-national is now seeking a Supply Chain Manager on a permanent basis. Responsibilities: Liaise with Category managers for categories where a Global category plan is applicable. Where a local category plan is applicable, develop a local procurement strategy (local category plan) with internal stakeholder which seek out business opportunities, capitalises on current market conditions and challenges business requirements. Lead supplier selection and negotiations. Manage the procurement process for key projects, ensuring the selection of suppliers with the capability to meet our needs, high service standards, efficient executions and competitive rates. Support complex commercial reviews and negotiations (including outsourcing deals) to identify and deliver: Improved standards of performance and contribution from suppliers. Efficiency improvements. Appropriate remuneration models achieving.
Skills Requirements
5 years experience within category, 7 years procurement/buying experience in a blue chip/multinational environment. Experienced contracts negotiator who challenges the business requirements & has the ability to lead complex high value negotiations. Experienced in strategic sourcing. Proficient knowledge of contract law. IIPMM (or equivalent) qualification.
