The role of the Team Leader is a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services for individuals with an intellectual disability. The successful candidate must provide leadership in the development of the service in line with Personal Outcomes Measures, HIQA standards, new directions and future service requirements.

A Nursing RNID/RMHN qualification with a current Live Register Certificate from the NMBI (An Bord Altranais) or a BA (Hons) Degree in Applied Social Studies, Psychology, Social work or Teaching. Candidates must have a full clean driving licence. Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience gained in services for people with intellectual disabilities. Experience working with people with autism, challenging behaviour and complex medical needs is an advantage. Candidates must have experience of leading and supporting a team.
