Technology Engagement Manager – ALONE – Dublin 8

Role Overview
An exciting new management role in ALONE leading the Provision of evidence based technology supports for Older People. This area will experience substantial growth in the coming years, so we are looking for a passionate and driven manager to lead this area.
Reporting Relationship
You will report directly to the Head of Services in ALONE.

Responsibilities
Tech integration and Growth is a key element of ALONE’s strategy. The Tech Engagement Manager will be responsible for the below.
Management of Tech Engagement Team- Targets, goals and performance Management
Manage the support and process for the delivery of Tech through our Service Managers and their staff
Manage the Appropriate Utilisation of the Assisted Technology Budget in line with any funding conditions and timelines
Represent ALONE in key projects and partnerships
Manage and oversee all reporting (internal/external) for tech engagement
Ensure stock is accurately logged on system and ensure all procedures are up to date and followed by team including management of any 3rd party logistic
Develop and Build Training to support Service Team and Volunteers
Growth and Development of Assistive Technology across ALONE, including but not limited to: National/local budget management, Funding applications, project delivery nationally.
Developing and supporting the TEO Team role to deliver TECH through the Support Co-ordinators, volunteers and other partners so that ALONE scale up the delivery of assistive technology to older people nationally.
As a Technology advocate, promote ALONE’s Assistive Technology services, build referral pathways and provide innovate technology solutions to meet the needs of older people.
Ensuring learning from projects/pilots taken forward into operating model
Build 3 year tech engagement growth strategy in line current targets
Improving accessibility in line with best practice.
Responsible for the any updates on the relevant policies and procedures related to your area

Any other tasks as required
Essential skills & experience
Minimum 2 years’ management experience
Project management experience
Proven track record of target delivery
Understanding of technology and its advantages to support improved Health and Wellbeing
Desirable
Previous experience with digital awareness/digital transformation projects.
Further information
The position is an initial 2-year fixed term contract. We work a 35-hour week. The position will require some travel. The salary scale offered for this position will depend on skills and experience.

The salary scale, €40,000 – €45,000 -depending on skills and experience.
