Description

The Procurement function within the Ervia Shared Service Centre is responsible for the procurement of direct categories such as IT and Facilities, procurement operations and contracts compliance. Procurement will provide these services to all of Ervias organisations including; Gas Networks Ireland and Irish Water, ensuring a consistent and efficient procurement approach is utilised. Reporting to the Tender Administration Lead, the Tender Administrator is responsible for providing support to the procurement function throughout the tendering process including; preparing of materials for all tenders, proposals, pre-qualifications and client presentations.

Skills Requirements

Minimum second level education Minimum of 1-3 years? tendering experience in a Procurement function Relevant experience in the Utilities industry is desirable Strong business acumen, communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of relevant commercial legislation and regulations for procurement of services and goods for Utility businesses is desirable PC skills required: extensive use of Microsoft Excel and Word and experience with procurement software
