1: Background
Following the receipt of grant funding under Measure 4 Dormant Accounts Fund 2015, the NERDATF and Meath Partnership are engaged in the rollout of evidence-based and best practice prevention and educations interventions to tackle drug and alcohol use in the North East Region.
2: Description of work to be completed by the successful tenderer.
To provide local facilitation of CASC© in accordance with standards required by Urrús and Quality and Qualifications Ireland. CASC© is QQI Fetac Level 5 accredited.
Interview prospective training candidates for inclusion in final training programme
Facilitation of 20 three-hour sessions and organisation of time management
Content preparation and distribution
Undergo continual evaluation of course delivery
Support individual participants in relation to course work
Assignment correction
Plan guest speakers and site visits
Ensure arrangements are in place for an efficient and effective delivery of CASC© and engage with Urrús to ensure same
3: The successful tenderer will be expected to be:
Experienced and committed to education as a positive medium for delivering substance and / or alcohol misuse information and education
Experienced in local facilitation of CASC©
Have undergone necessary local facilitation training with Urrús as CASC© originators
A legal entity and have appropriately trained and experienced personnel with responsibility for delivering the substance use education programme.
Have high standards of internal management and a track record for completing projects on time and within budget.
The maximum total budget available to the agency for the services to be provided is €9,000 (inclusive of VAT, where applicable).
