We are currently looking to recruit a Transport Controller for our client based in Dublin. The Transport Controllers duties will: Be an integral part of the company s transport operation, managing the fleet of vehicles and drivers. Regularly communicate with customers and clients to help process/coordinate orders. Plan drivers routes nationally. Coordinate road freight operations from Europe. Uphold company values in order to deliver exceptional customer service. Be able to independently solve transport issues wherever possible. The ideal candidate will: Have experience working within the transport industry, with some level of management experience. Have experience in route planning for a mixed fleet of vans and HGV s. Be comfortable with different IT systems. Understand customer service and the impact that it can have on the business as a whole. Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
