Are seeking to appoint a Part-Time Traveller Men’s Health Development Worker. This is a job-sharing post to carry out an overall programme of work with an emphasis on:

Awareness raising.
Prevention.
Health Promotion.
Modifiable lifestyle changes.
Supporting access to mainstream health services.
Essential requirements for the position

Have good interpersonal skills.
Have excellent report writing skills.
Have a 3rd level degree or equivalent.
Have experience of working with disadvantaged or other marginalised groups.
Have a proven interest in and commitment to Community Development and Equality.
Be able to demonstrate initiative and leadership skills.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the wider determinants of Health.
Weekly hours will be 19 hours
